nebuchadnezzar

He finds himself outside the gates of the city,
face down in the grass, lumbering on hands and knees.
The noblemen think it a tragedy, to swing so low.
But the children laugh around him and sing.

The children know the truth of the matter.
"Nebbie's no king, old Neezer's a cow."
The cow laughs and throws grass and sings at the sky,
"Yes, yes!" he shouts, "Old Neezer's a king!"
